Job: Architecture/Design/Development - Technical Writer III
Location: New Jersey (Remote)
Duration: 6 months
Essential function(s) includes, but is not limited to:
The documentation specialist / technical writer supports the GRACS PMO Functional Owners in the assessment, development, and governance (change control) of SOPs and related procedural documents.
Roles/Activities:
· Develops, edits, and formats documents such as Standard Operating Procedures, and supportive documentation (e.g. forms, checklists, technical manuals, installation guides, user manuals, and other related technical and business process documentation), working across various teams to generate effective materials for the required audience
· Facilitates reviews with leads and various business SMEs, updating draft documents and working with SMEs and document owners to finalize. Work with leads to schedule reviews, capture comments, and update documents.
· When creating, updating and enhancing the documentation, adhere to format, content and style guidelines, considering usability and ensuring accuracy, consistency and quality.
· Additionally, this role may be required to administer the processing of documents via the established Document Processing Review process.
Technical Skills:
· Proven ability to analyze, prepare technical documentation, and coordinate layout and organization.
· Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
· Explain concepts and processes simply and concisely to help internal and external users understand the procedure/technology
· Understand the logical flow for procedures and be able to assess what is needed; design and execute.
· Regulated environment experience
· Document version control experience
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Veeva document management system a plus.
Leadership Skills:
• Understand the logical flow for procedures and be able to assess what is needed; then design and execute.
• Work collaborative across various teams to generate effective materials for the required audience
