Title: Senior Java Developer/ Lead

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Duration: 6+ Months

              

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Experience: 9+ years.

Designs, develops, installs, tests and documents complexdatabase applications software, including server, client, and web components.Contributes to the design and delivery of technical architecture solutioncomponents. Provides work guidance to less experienced personnel. Leads teamsin providing flexible reusable components in designs. Provides highly complexdesign documents and translates into component-level designs to acceleratedevelopment. Develops strategy, design and data gathering approaches. Leadsefforts to provide flexible reusable components to increase cost effectiveness.Analyzes, designs and reviews design of applications and suites to ensure thatcustomer specifications are met. Oversees relationships between applicationarchitects and development teams to ensure that product development andimplementation are coordinated. Leads product development teams and seniordesigners in developing accurate and relevant design requirements. Recommendsand implements alternative courses of action as appropriate.

Certification in relevant technologies preferred

 

Technical  Experience Needed:

·        Experience in developing customer facingScalable APIs, building Microservices, Significant understanding ofMicroservice patterns, concepts & its application in problem solving

·        Experience implementing API Service architectureusing any of the market leading API Management tools such as Apigee andframeworks such as Spring Boot Experience building REST web services usingJava, experience with Web Services(JSON, REST, JAX-RS, Spring based RESTservices)

·        Experience with Open API specification anddesign first approach, defining YAML specifications for API using Swagger hub

·        Hands on experience with Spring and Spring Boot,Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security.

·        Exposure or prior working experience with ApacheCamel, Talend is a plus

·        Experience delivering a Microservices basedarchitecture leveraging APIs, containers(ECS) and automation

·        Knowledge of AWS or any cloud environment andexperience building cloud native applications

·        Experience with development/DevOPs tools likeEclipse, Git, Sonar, Jenkins, Jira, Artifactory.

·        Experience with TDD and Junit

·        Experience implementing secured services, HTTPS,SSL, OAUTH etc..

·        Experience with messaging products is a plus,Websphere MQ, TIBCO EMS or any JMS Servers.

·        Prior experience on rules enginesDrools(preferred) or BlCliente or OpenL.

·        Preferred understanding and experience withCaching Technologies like Redis

·        Hands on experience on any of the developmentframeworks Angular.JS/Node.JS/React.JS with basic experience onJavaScript/Ajax, HTML & CSS for UI/ frontend application development
