Position : Product Owner Location: Grapevine, TX Duration: Long term Job Description: My client is seeking a Product Owner to work in the IT department on an Agile Scrum Team. This position will be responsible for a value stream and its development initiatives by identifying user needs, communicating strategic objectives, managing releases, and overall vision. The Product Owner should have strong analytical skills with ability to translate visions into user stories; excellent verbal/written communicate skills covering technical and functional subjects; and strong desire to organize and drive projects across the finish line. Core Responsibilities & Duties: Acts as primary liaison between business stakeholders and development team helping to align objectives, deliverables, and proper prioritization Creates user stories, establishes acceptance criteria, and manages development projects and backlog Drives project objectives and release content Facilitates & provides clear communications between technical requirements and product features Manages iterations to ensure meeting schedule and scope targets, with aptitude to adjust as necessary Works with other value stream Agile teams to determine interdependencies Performs other duties as required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology, Engineering or equivalent experience Prefer professional certificate in Agile development (Scrum, Kanban, LEAN) Prefer 2 years of experience leading project teams using Agile methodology 4-5 years of experience in business analysis, solutions development, creating business requirements and delivering business capabilities Technical Skills: Ideal candidate will possess a “can do” attitude with a “will do” work ethic Must be a self-starter that does not require constant direction Strong team player that thrives in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and problem solving skills with ability to communicate effectively across all levels of operations/users Ability to drive/display ownership/proactive behavior Efficiently handle multiple IT projects simultaneously Strong computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Visio or other graphical flow chart programs Serve as the customer proxy during grooming sessions Defines, prioritizes and maintains the Backlogs Helps establish features, stories and related acceptance criteria Accepts completed stories into the backlog Retail Experience a Strong Plus Thanks and Regards, Arun Kumar ERPMark Inc 103 Carnegie Center, Suite 300, Princeton NJ 08540 Email: arun.a@erpmark.com Direct: 609-608-0936 || 609-224-1310 Ext 971 www.erpmark.com | Finding Hidden Talent NOTE: We, at ERP Mark Inc, are firmly opposed to e-mail spamming.
