Job Description The Financial Analyst will be supporting management planning and decision making by identifying, maintaining, and evaluating information, as well as recommending actions. This position is responsible for preparing, analyzing and reporting a monthly /Quarterly / yearly summary of operating results for the inventory / logistics business units. - Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of procurement, inventory, expenses and capital expenditures.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives, build calculators to analyze costs based on drivers (e.g. headcount, demand).
- Analyze and clean up financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to transportation department
- Supporting Senior Management Team and transportation and logistics departments teams with in-depth analysis
- Coordinate all information requests from Business Units for monthly results, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Develop/Consolidate/Publish various non-financial and financial reports to support Accounting group.
- Build out a forecast entry model that will feed automatically into Tableau.
- Allocate and prepare reports for procurement / inventory results.
- Provide other ad-hoc financial and accounting support as requested.
