Position Title: - System Administrator
Location: - Honolulu, HI
Duration: - 12+ months
Mandatory Skills:-

• AWS Ops experience is a must. Strong knowledge of AWS architecture and services. Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience.
• Experience working with Terraform, Ansible, Python, json, yaml, node.js and lambda
• Significant experience with deployment automation, working with platforms for configuration management with Ansible.
• Experience with cloud hosted application-monitoring tools such as Cloud Watch, New Relic, Prometheus.
• Experience with container architecture and technologies such as ECS, Kubernetes and Docker.
• Excellent collaboration skills across Development and Operations
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical.
• Strong OS administration skills on Linux (Rhel) and Windows.
• Basic understanding of VMware and AD.
 

Job Description:-
Responsibilities:

• Manage Cloud platform systems which includes VPCs, EC2 instances, EBS, S3, MQ, IAM, Containers, Kubernetes services etc.
• Work with Engineering team, to get handover related to new builds in Cloud – like AWS, Azure and build it as per defined requirement through Change Control procedure
• Develop and maintain build and run documents for System Operations Support
• Closely work with DevOps team for application hosting and related service requests, issues etc.
• Monitor Cloud services using Cloud watch, NewRelic monitoring tools and take corrective action to resolve the issues
• Ensure all Cloud instances are patched as per recommendation
• Configure and maintain S3 buckets, Storage Gateways
• Manage IAM Roles, Keys, Security Groups
• Perform administration of Linux Server Environment.
• Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
• Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
