Job Title: Palo Alto Engineer (SME)

Locations: Houston, TX.

Duration: 12 months

 

Scheduling interviews as soon as possible. Cyber Security Engineers with extensive migration experience from Juniper Hardware to Palo Alto is required with Training/Coaching and Run Book creation experience.

 

Overview:

Customer wants to rip out Juniper hardware in 200 data centres and replace it with Palo Alto.  Customer is in the process of migrating their enterprise and DataCentre firewalls from Juniper to PAN. WWT will work with customer to develop an architectural design for the Panorama central management and PAN firewalls. WWT will facilitate a design workshop with customer to work through design requirements and hand the design off to this Palo Alto SME for implementation. After implementation, the SME will hand off to customer. The output of this workshop will be a Low-Level Design of the Panorama structure.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Juniper to Palo migration experience (Mandatory)

·         Hands on expertise

·         Palo Alto SME

·         Juniper experience

·         Local candidate preferred (Every-other week onsite in Houston, TX.)

·         Travel to the UK and France (Internationally) after design is implemented in Houston

·         Executive Level communication skills required (Verbal and written)

·         Leadership skills – team lead experience

·         Provide Palo Alto Solutions

·         Will train the current team on Palo Alto firewalls after implementation

·         Heavy documentation skills

·         Run Book creation

·         Coaching / training experience
