Job Description:
· Ability to transform business requirements to infrastructure requirements.
· Recommend alternative technologies or improvements to enhance network systems to support organizational goals. These recommendations are to be presented clearly to IM Management and validated against standards.
· Perform high level and low level designs for LAN/WAN and enterprise WiFi using shared infrastructure for multi divisional support.
· Design Wired and WiFi networks for manufacturing devices(RF guns, GPS, label printers, laser devices, SMART glasses, Hololens etc. as requirements arises) enabling security standards for authentication and authorization
· Network integration Engineer must create detailed plans for the integration of new network systems architecture into existing infrastructure.
· Ability to design and support complex VRF environments.
· Develop and design a common shared ISE infrastructure for supporting multiple forests and different authentication methods.
· Ability to design Industrial networks using manufacturing type protocols as needed and recommend enhancements while enforcing security standards.
· Ensure adherence to current standards by collaborating with Enterprise Architect group and platform engineers.
· Ability to design contracts within ACI to accelerate the use of ACI and ability to modify the design to use contracts to enhance security.
· Ability to configure new tenants within ACI and configure contracts for network isolation.
· Consolidate divisional core routing functions to a shared core infrastructure model for supporting multiple divisions leveraging VRFs
· Ability to design solutions leveraging Cisco DNA and SDA
