Title:Python Developer with Manufacturing

Location: Menlo Park CA

Duration:6 Months

Responsibilities:

Implement and optimize test cases for the manufacturing of Facebook Open Compute and Storage hardware.

Engage with the Manufacturing Test, Test Framework, and Manufacturing Quality teams in order to execute the Manufacturing Test Requirements plan in a mass production environment.

Execute regression and deployment plans against the change management process to support the scaling of the test framework. Define more detailed and explicit error codes which will lead to broader and more accurate debug.

Rescope current logging capabilities including depth of checks, timing, log consolidation, and searchability.

Develop tooling to parse logs for predefined values, tests, and errors.

Work with the global MQE team to drive root cause and corrective action for failures during rack integration.

Requirements:

BS, Electrical or Computer Science, or a related technical qualification.

2+ years’ experience in deploying and supporting manufacturing test software in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of server and storage hardware architecture and technologies including test/ debug methodologies.

Experience developing manufacturing test solutions, working with open source stress applications, and interpreting detailed test results for server products.

Demonstrated use of quality tools and methodologies in a manufacturing and/or engineering environment.

Scripting skills in Bash, Perl, and Python. Experience operating in Linux/Unix environments with knowledge of networking and network boot.

Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic global environment.
