Title:  SAP MM Consultant Location: Portland, OR Duration: Full time. Skills Required: Responsible for working with the business teams to understand the business requirements in their area for SAP MM and Ariba implementation/Rollout. Perform Gap Analysis with respect to global template and discuss with them to fill in the gaps to ensure adherence to Global template. Document the business process and identified gaps and solutions agreed with respect to global template. The business requirements document (BRD) shall be the source against which the Functional Requirement Specification (FRS) must be created Based on the FRS, Technical Requirement Specification document needs to be created. Technical Requirement document will contain all the technical details needed for the successful completion of the project The High-Level Design (HLD) will follow, where the data flow diagram will have to be created with all the different components and layers though which the data will pass though. All the impacted systems involved in the project needs to be highlighted in this document. After HLD, Detail Level Design (DLD) document needs to be created, which will show each and every object and process that is required SAP implementation. This document will contain the lowest granular information related to the project Conduct end-to-end testing of all business processes and system functions, including all interfaces with other internal and external applications, to ensure the solution works as designed and intended This testing will confirm the proper selection, transmission, induction, processing, and validation of data occurs in the system Conducting Functional testing, System Integration testing, to make sure the system set up is as expected with no errors Coordination across all systems (not just SAP) is required to conduct true end-to-end business process testing As part of tracking IT progress, all testing issues must be captured. Testing issues should be reviewed immediately and assigned to the appropriate team member for quick resolution Responsible for working with the business teams to understand the master data in their area for SAP MM and Ariba implementation. Perform Gap Analysis with respect to global template on Master Data and define with them the required Master Data to ensure adherence to Global template.
