VOIP/ IP Telephony Engineer  
Location : San Antonio, TX
Duration : 6+ Months

Job Description:
Need 8+ years of experience in VOIP/ IP Telephony Engineer  .
Proven operations experience supporting, administering and maintaining on-premise or cloud hosted voice, video/web conferencing, and collaboration solutions.
Experience in troubleshooting, supporting and deploying Cisco UC hardware, such as video conferencing codecs and VOIP phones.
Proficiency in design and troubleshooting AV/VC solution using on-premise or cloud based , Audio/Video and conferencing solutions.
Assess and perform systems utilization, metrics, monitoring, and analysis to assist in troubleshooting and performance tuning of UC platforms and solutions.
Proactively identify potential production issues to recommend and implement solutions.
Act as the escalation point for all lower level support issues and be able to perform support and follow through to resolution for local issues affecting the business.
Conceptual knowledge of Voice/Video/Network protocols such as TCP, UDP, SIP, SCCP, QoS, H.323, G.711, and H.264.
Ability to establish and follow policies and change procedures for infrastructure new deployments, administration, and follow best practices for enterprise monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance.
Experience supporting video streaming services such as Vimeo, Microsoft Stream or LiveStrem
Exposure to Cisco WebEx and on premise UC integration
Create and maintain detailed systems documentation for team information sharing.
CCNP Collaboration/Voice certified
Exposure to Crestron/Avaya product lines
