Hi Partner, Hope you’re doing great, I've an urgent opening, please find the JD below and share your consultant's resumes with me: Job Details: Position: Senior UNIX Engineer Title: US Citizens Only Job Location: Miami FL Job Type: 12+ Month Contract (Onsite) Interview Mode: Phone & F2F/WebEx Job Description: Minimum Qualifications: · Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related work experience preferred · Minimum of 10 years’ experience in administration of Unix/Linux operating systems (Red Hat, Sun Solaris) · Must be able to travel to foreign (non-US) countries unimpeded by VISA requirements. · Foreign nationals must be able to easily obtain work visas in a variety of countries Essential Functions: · Collaborate and coordinate with the OneIT Project Management Office to plan and support the UNIX infrastructure requirements onboard ships primarily for dry-docks and new builds · Plan, Stage, document, and configure Logical and Physical layouts for installations of Red Hat Linux and Oracle Solaris (SPARC) servers ship and shore · Installation and configuration of all software packages as needed to support business requirements · Ability to work with other infrastructure teams for system implementations primarily shipboard · Systems support and troubleshooting expertise as needed · Transition to run · Documentation of as built environments · Perform other duties and special projects as required Overview: · We are currently seeking a Senior Unix Engineer! The Sr. Unix Engineer is responsible for design, development, and implementation of enterprise UNIX Systems and infrastructure. The UNIX team is responsible for analyzing, configuring, testing and implementing of enterprise UNIX infrastructure solution in addition the team is involved in providing assistance with performance and capacity ?requests as well as incident resolution. · This position collaborates with the OneIT Infrastructure Architecture organization to ?ensure an understanding of business cases and to ensure that the appropriate UNIX solution is selected to meet the business need. This role will support cross-departmental collaboration and internal communications with staff throughout the organization, as well as promoting a positive work environment that supports consistency and drives efficiency throughout the organization.
