Position: SAP FICO with Product Costing
Location: San Diego, CA & Racine WI
Duration: 12+months Contract
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related course in computers and software development or relevant experience.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience as SAP FICO Analyst in consulting or support organization, including problem resolution and configuration changes,
The person must have experience working in the ECC 6.0 environment with New GL and document splitting.
Must have experience developing functional specs and configuration documents for RICEF (Reports, Interface, Conversion, Enhancements and Forms), for custom needs.
Must understand complex table joins and advanced programming concepts, prior data dictionary experience.
3+ years of experience in energy, construction, real estate development or similar project management-intensive industry highly preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
SAP Certification in FI or CO is desired.
Knowledge of the SAP Financial accounting and Controlling module (FICO) configuration, tables, reports and processes with focus on CO-PA (Account based), CO-PS, CO-CCA, CO-PCA, FI – GL (General ledger accounting), and banking including but not limited to actuals, plan and budget reporting, settlements, allocations, reposting of costs, statistical postings, reporting etc., and integration with SD/MM, Service Management etc. components.
Capable of applying professional business and technical knowledge when working with clients and vendors in activities such as identifying options, selection, analyzing, designing, installation, coding, maintenance, and testing of information technology solutions.
Familiarity with info-type table structures and knowledge of workflow processes, is a plus.
Knowledge of or experience in S/4 HANA or HANA related development using eclipse is a plus.
High level understanding of ABAP programming/Workbench, object-oriented programming, Process Integration 7.1 or 7higher (PI), Workflow techniques, familiarity with SRM 7.0, SAPScript/Smart Forms.
Ability to quickly assess technical abilities of ABAP resources, as needed.
Able to assist in directing the work of contract resources.
Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communications across all levels of an organization and ability to establish and maintain constructive working relationships with SMEs, super-users, internal and external IT resources on assigned projects, working toward common business objectives, timelines, and quality delivery. With the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel in business language.
Experience with Agile methodology is a plus.
Desktop skills required, including Windows and Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Access, Visio and Outlook.
Able to self-direct work, possess business acumen, be able to think critically, and provide creative solutions. Proficient facilitating group meetings, influencing and negotiating as needed. With the proven ability to function and execute work at an advanced level. While maintaining a commitment to high standards and ethics. Comfortable balancing multiple priorities and assignments to meet required deadlines with quality results.
