One of our client is seeking multiple Opportunities with JAVA- Core Java Developer / Java Backend Developer + Cassandra / Java8 Developer

 

Position 1

Title: Core Java Developer

Location: Austin, TX/Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 24+ Months Contract

 

Required:

·         5+ years software development experience.

·         A strong technical background coding in Java 7 or 8.

·         Experience with creating and consuming RESTful, Query, and hybrid APIs using OAuth 2.0.

·         Java micro services in Spring Cloud is highly preferred.

·         Java micro services in Spring Boot is required.

·         Experience with AWS technologies such as S3 and Dynamo DB.

·         Experience with Kafka is highly preferred.

·         Hands-on experience with the latest technologies and delivery methodologies: microservices, AWS, docker, Angular 2.

·         Technical depth that allows you to rapidly fix bugs.

·         Experience with continuous integration development environment.

·         Knowledge of core CS concepts such as: common data structures and algorithms, profiling/optimization, cost optimization problems/machine learning.

·         Proficient in writing server-side application logic in Java or another JVM-based environment.

·         Deep understanding of Java API integration technologies and practical experience.

·         Experience with Java microservices in Spring Cloud and Spring Boot.

·         Familiarity with common source control systems

 

Position 2

Title: Java Backend Developer + Cassandra

Location: Austin, TX/Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 24+ Months Contract

 

Job Description:

·         Candidate should have experience in a scalable, multi-threaded server side environment and have a test driven development mindset.

·         The individual must be knowledgeable and competent with Java, Cassandra, RESTful, SOAP, Spring, MicroServices.

·         Strong hands on software development experience, with JavaJ2EE Cassandra database engineeringadmin experience Cassandra design, implementation and tuning experience.

·         knowledge of Design Patterns and comfort with the latest architectural paradigms.

·         Experience with AWS or other cloud services Strong agreement with high stability, quality, and continuous delivery.

·         Strong experience with XML, JSON and Web-services (SOAP, RESTful).

·         Strong experience working in a team and as an individual.

·         Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), with experience producing technical and design documentation of complex processes.

·         Ability to troubleshoot, performance tune and understand java memory utilization in code produced.

·         Experience with an open source development environment using tools such as Maven, Git, Eclipse, JIRA Required.

 

Position 3

Title: Java8 Developer

Location: Austin, TX/Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 24+ Months Contract

 

Required Skills:

•        Must have 5+ years of hands on experience with Java8+ programming language.

•        Extensive knowledge of Java 8 Lambda, Streams, Optional and other Functional interfaces.

•        Experience designing software using Functional and Object-Oriented Application Design Paradigms.

•        Experience developing cloud native microservices.

•        Familiarity with Openshift or Kubernetes environments for deployment.

•        Experience working with Play and Akka Framework using TDD (Test Driven Design) methodology.

•        Basic knowledge of how SBT build tool work.

•        Knowledge of how Dependency Injection works and preferably have experience using Guice framework.

•        Experience developing Restful APIs / Stateless Applications.

•        Proficient in NOSQL database technologies.

•        Preferably have some experience working with Couchbase database but not required.

•        Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, Jira, Confluence are other DevOps tools.

•        Experience with publish-subscribe architectures and event-driven architectures with distributed non-monolithic application.
