Position: Magento Lead Developer
Location: Cranbury, NJ or NYC
Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire
Strong, hands-on eCommerce resource who will be responsible for the overall delivery of the eCommerce Solution based on Magento Cloud. Candidate should be able to work with the business to define the requirements and provide best practice recommendation. The candidate will be attending most strategy and all sprint/development cycle meetings with the leadership team and others to serve as an expert. They would have an integral part in helping to determine the best route to implement the strategy given by the digital leaders.
Job Responsibilities (General Requirements) :
Design and develop solutions to software applications, and systems administration of e-commerce solutions, create and integrate software applications and software systems for e-commerce solutions using Magento.
Communicate with clients to understand system requirements for enterprise eCommerce platforms.
Develop project plans, schedules and budgets using MS Project.
Document design specifications, installation procedure, and other system-related information.
Understand and provide guidance on an eCommerce best practices.
Ability to Lead and mentor the team of developers within the eCommerce team.
Standardize project development methodology for eCommerce solutions, including process, phase artifacts, coding conventions, design and programming guidelines;
Understand HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other related development technologies, performs various coding tasks, such as design, development, and testing of Web front-end, back-end Web-based applications, and web services.
Strong software engineering concepts using AGILE, SCRUM and waterfall Model.
Magento 2.0 experience is highly desirable.
