Duration : 6 Months Phone and Skype No H1B Job Description: Job Overview: Join our client’s growing team and use your web development skills to maintain software solutions. This is a challenging opportunity to work with a team of analysts and other developers to solve key business systems-related problems and improve existing processes. Duties & Responsibilities: - Maintain and develop a custom WordPress application
- Troubleshoot and resolve varying levels of technical issues
- Manage versioning and deployment of application source code including source control management, branching, tagging, etc.
- Maintain and develop a variety of custom WordPress applications built using PHP and JavaScript with an eye to continuous improvement
- Use your coding and problem-solving skills to support web applications in a fast-paced, high-energy agile team environment
- Work directly with colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve issues with custom applications
Requirements for the Role: - Experience with entire LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
- Experience developing custom themes in WordPress
- Experience developing custom plugins in WordPress
- Knowledge of advanced WordPress configurations
- Knowledge in working with REST APIs
- Experience developing using MVC frameworks
- Experience developing with JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS3
Recommended Qualifications - Experience with Vagrant
- Experience with plugins such as Advanced Custom Fields and Blubrry Powerpress
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles
