Description:
 
Job Duties • Prepare detailed business requirements (BRD), functional specifications(FSD) , design models, system workflows and technical design document(TDD) •Develop Webservices with heavy emphasis on Java based Web services and additional experience with .NET services • Design, Code and develop the application components using Java/J2EE technologies • Design, Code and develop the database components using PL/SQL, Oracle and SQL Server • Test the Webservices/application & DB components as per the test cases and ensure quality product with high system performance, reliability, and scalability. • Provide support to production systems, Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis and implement fixes • Collaborate with other developers, QA and other stakeholders and ensure customer needs are met • Perform other duties as assigned.   Skills • 4-6 years of experience in Web services (SOAP/REST/WSDL) with heavy emphasis on Java based Web services and additional experience with .NET service • Experience with creating and consuming Webservices • 4-6 years of experience in the development of advanced Java/J2ee applications and Object Oriented Design • Expert level knowledge & experience in Core Java, Spring, Hibernate, data structures multi-threading, concurrency package, Data Structures, Design Patterns • Good knowledge of working with HTML5, XML, JSON and JavaScript, JQuery, CSS etc. • Work experience in Eclipse IDE • Experience in PL/SQL • Good knowledge of Agile development methodology (Scrum) including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups & release planning • Understanding of build process and script is an added advantage • Experience writing technical documents • IT experience in a healthcare environment • Maven • Spring Boot • Unit test



Title: Application Development - JAVA Integration Lead
Duration : 1 Year
Location : Providence, Rhode Island


Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis) • Lead the application development/enhancement projects in areas of Integration of various Healthcare Payer applications • Collaborate with internal teams and offshore and interact with customers to find solutions for projects and operational issues for existing systems • Support functional specifications and technical architecture of projects in Java/SOA and integration applications • Create High and low level design for work in in Java/SOA and integration applications • Code or Code Reviews along with Unit Testing in Java/SOA and integration applications • Engage in CI/CD pipeline creation for all batch applications in Java/SOA • Coordinate QAT with QA team on Java/SOA application • Act as single point of contact for all development related to projects assigned Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each) • Minimum 5+ years of experience working in Java/SOA and integration (Realtime and batch) for various applications • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Healthcare Payer applications Nice to Have: (But not a must) • Project lead experience • Facets Experience.

Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to do this job; with minimum years of experience on each) - 7+ years of IT Experience in software development in developing portal application as well as client/server applications. - Deep development experience with Core Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring MVC, EJB, Tomcat, SOA, JSON, XML, and RESTful web service framework - High proficiency in web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS3, and Bootstrap along with the modern and emerging frameworks that support these technologies - Minimum 5+ years of experience in all phases of software development life cycle for all handling different types of requests (especially Core deevlopment Projects) - Minimum 2+ experience in Global (onshore/offshore) delivery model - Worked in projects using DEVOPs CI/CD pipeline using tools like Maven, Jenkins etc. - Ability to multi-task and lead small development teams to ensure timely software development deliverables - Ability to perform coding, code reviews and troubleshoot all software development issues - Knowledge of configuring application in AWS cloud. Travel: No Travel Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Nice to Have; (But not a must) - Health Care industry especially Health care plans - Microservices experiences
