Job Title Python Developer Location Palo Alto, CA Duration 12+ Contract 8-10 years’ experience in Python backend development and Backend web-services frameworks. Flask, Django, Kubernetes, Docker, Web applications, Azure The AI Labs engineering team is looking for a web backend engineer with strong knowledge and experience developing backend services and integration for web-based applications.  The candidate will work with the AI labs engineering team to architect and develop REST-based web-services integrating these services into end-to-end backend pipelines. The candidate is expected to have development knowledge of Python-based web services and application development and familiarity with web-based frameworks such as Flask. ● Implement standalone and coordinated backend services and applications to allow for the creation and orchestration of backend pipelines ● Engineer large scale development systems using full-stack web-based technologies ● Develop micro-services-based backend services and integrate them into cloud-based platforms such as Azure using containerization technologies based on Kubernetes. ● Implement test cases to automate testing of frontend and backend code. ● Be a part of a highly productive and creative engineering team, working together to execute on the vision and the plan laid out for the team. ● BS or MS in Computer Science or related field ● 8-10 years’ experience in developing backend services and integration for web-based applications ● Ability to think critically, question assumptions and devise solutions to challenging technical problems. ● Self-motivated, persevering and capable of working with minimal supervision. ● Solid teamwork and communication skills. ● Strong hands-on experience with the following technologies ○ Python backend development ○ Backend web-services frameworks: Flask or Django ○ Containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes ○ NOSQL databases like MongoDB ○ Messaging frameworks - RabbitMQ or similar ○ Microsoft Azure technologies       Thanks!
