Job Description:

Required skills - Chef, AWS, DevOps and CICD

• Expert level (5+ Years) experience in writing and debugging Chef cookbooks across Unix and Windows platforms.

• 3+ years CI/CD based development

• Good knowledge in Github and Jenkins

• Operating Systems Knowledge and understanding of Docker, Containers.

• Must be able to structure, plan and execute strategic initiatives with the right project discipline

• Ability to work effectively with virtual and remote team

• Experience in system development utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS), and/or related methodologies

Role description -

• Responsible for Developing and supporting Chef and entire CICD pipelines Scope includes:

• Chef Infrastructure/Ruby scripting

• Chef Automate pipeline

• Chef Cookbooks Development and Remediate Chef Cookbooks

• Enabling Guard condition on cookbooks

• Maintaining Cookbooks in Github with proper approval

• Develop Jenkins pipeline jobs and operating them with proper access control.

• Integrate AWS services using Chef such as EC2, ECS
