Position/Role : UX Designer

Job Description:
Develop graphic design and user experience for web and mobile for a production optimization application in the oil and gas industry. Based upon analysis of use cases, apply a systematic approach to create visual design elements for web applications to conform to requirements. Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and other documentation to convey visualization solutions to other developers and engineers. Make suggestions for user experience challenges and front-end enhancements.
• Collaborate with product management and software development to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to software development.
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Create and optimize images and production artwork for web applications.
• Work closely with software engineers to coordinate formatting and delivery of visual templates.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
• Support the creation of documentation and training material.
Skills, Experience, and Technologies
• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript capabilities.
• Intermediate Adobe Photoshop and graphic design skills.
• Ability to translate requirements into a solid design and implementation.
• Operate within an Agile Scrum development methodology.
