Desired Skills: MS Dynamics is a plus

 

Job Roles / Responsibilities:      

 

Design, build, enhance and maintain company-wide external websites and internal web based applications. Implement bug fixes for applications currently in use.

Develop and maintain company-wide reports

Work with Marketing communications and IT team to analyze project requirements to accurately estimate projects with completion timelines and execute on agreed timelines

Use source code management tools and techniques to facilitate development, release and maintenance of web applications

Create and maintain technical documentation

Design databases according to best practices and proper normalization, create schema, queries, stored procedures and ad-hoc SQL statements to support the application. 

 

Requirement 2 :

Position: Software Development specialist

Location: Eden Prairie, MN

Duration: 6-12 months

Experience: 5+ years

 

Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)  

• Work on resolving tickets on applications designed in Java, J2EE, Hibernate, JTA and SQL Server.
• Work on triaging, coordinating with offshore team
• Responsible for the team’s adherence to processes and SLAs
• Perform code reviews and independently handle deployment validations. (2 to 5 hours on one of the Sunday’s every month)
• Support for P1’s in off office hours (6 pm to 11 pm CST and weekends)
• Participate in service improvement initiatives
• Follow source code and revision control
• Clearly communicate issues and status in both verbal and written form

 

Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required with min years of experienc

Minimum 5+ year of strong application support using Java, J2EE, Hibernate and JTA
Minimum 3+ year of Support or development experience on JBoss Application Server and SQL Server
2+ years of strong development experience on XML, JQuery, HTML
Minimum 2+ year of strong skills and experience in Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)

 

Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field

 
Nice to Have; (But not a must)
Good to have experience on web service frameworks. Experience with Crystal reports, Windows IIS server, is an added advantage
Good to have experience on SSIS packages
Experience with Crystal reports, Windows IIS server, Microsoft Visio is an added advantage.
Experience in development or maintenance finance application
Experience in development or maintenance of Case360 application

 

Requirement 3 :

Position : Backend Java Developer

Location: Norwalk, CT

Duration: 1 year

Client: Cognizant

Experience: 6-8 years

 

Job Description:

·         Java collections,

·         Java Multi-threading/Concurrency Model

·         Core Java/generics

·         Basic overview knowledge of the JVM memory model

·         Java 8 features (theoretical is fine even if not used on a day to day basis)

·         Spring

·         Spring MVC

·         Basic knowledge of Spring Boot (Optional)

Must Have Skills: Backend core java development, core Java, Spring framework, web services

 

Requirement 4 :

Position 1: Java Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: 1 year

Experience: 5-7 years

 

Job Description:

Must Have Skills: Java/JEE, Spring boot, Spring MVC, Spring core, SQL, Good code/design skills

Desired Skills: JPA (Hibernate or Eclipselink) or MyBatis, Web services, JDBC, Oracle, REST, Gradle or Maven, Eclipse, familiar with JBoss or WebSphere

Job Roles / Responsibilities:      

Act as onsite coordinator, Customer Handling, Coordination with Offshore team

Attend Requirement Gathering meetings. Understand the business requirements in order to provide the technical design requirement.

Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business requirements.

Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing as applicable.

Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation if any.

Responsible for participating in the support of applications.
