Position 1: Front-End Java Developer
Location:  Owings Mills, MD
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Interview: Phone and Skype
 
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong web application frontend experience using Angular version 2+, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS
• Experience with one or more object-oriented programming language such as Java, C#, C++ etc.
• Experience with version control, such as Git and SVN
• Experience with mobile responsive website design Unit, functional, test automation skills, including experience using test tools such as Selenium Strong analytical, debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to create technical and user documentation
• Demonstrated leadership ability and experience mentoring less experienced technical staff

 
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Direct experience with Java programming and implementing Java RESTful service or Microservices strongly desired
• Experience with AWS services and using AWS tools strongly desired Experience in DevOps, CI/CD as well as related tools and skills such as scripting for build/test/deploy
• Experience with API management tools such as Apigee Experience in working with agile lifecycle (e.g. SCRUM, SAFe) and tracking and process management tools, e.g. Rally, JIRA

 
Position 2: Java Developer (C++ )
Location:  St. Louis, MO
Duration: 9+ Months Contract
Interview: Phone and Skype
 
Need someone who can read c++ code and convert it to Java.


Responsibilities:

• Possess advanced knowledge of the tools and processes required by the role.
• Write high-performance, reusable, modular code
• Create new functions and features to improve the company product
• Communicate regularly with product owners to finalize project specifications
• Ensure that code is efficient, scalable, maintainable, extensible, robust and easy to understand. Diagnose and fix code problems
• Deliver code that meets requirements on schedule
• Improve application quality and reliability by implementing good standards and processes.
• Collaborate with other development teams (even ones in other offices).

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in similar or related positions;
• BS degree in Computer Science or equal Job Experience preferred;
• Java engineering experience;
• SQL experience
• Experience in Java Script frameworks like Angular JS, Spring, Hibernete;
• Ability to read, understand and analyze C++ code
• Experience in an environment with rapid product development cycles
• Experience in C++ is a strong plus
• Self-motivated, driven to achieve committed milestones
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
