  Job Title: Infrastructure - Security Engineer II / DevOps Developer / Automation Engineer

 

  Job Description:

 

Responsibilities:

-       Creating a data pipeline

-       Do all the technical coding work, with security flavor

-       Bring in vulnerability data from data producers

-       Aggregate the data, perform automation

-       Facilitate triage and remediation

-       Customer can perform necessary action

 

Summary

You will be responsible for API, Application/Web, Tool and Automation development primarily in a DevOps environment. Principal activities will include development, maintenance and test automation of projects/tools. Experience with Linux and a dynamic programming language such as Ruby and/or Python is essential.

You will work closely with other team-members and will be expected to contribute code within an Agile development framework.

 

Core Responsibilities

•       Partners with Ops and Product stakeholders to develop applications and tools in a business / customer experience driven framework.

•       Bridges applications and tools with databases and interconnected systems through APIs.

•       Leads the integration of projects into operations including instrumentation, automation, standardization, and methods/procedures.

•       Creates prototypes in a lean / agile manner in order to influence product direction.

•       Documents development efforts through system design flows, data models, etc.

•       Performs complex and routine maintenance tests for designated areas of engineering.

•       Identifies and isolates issues.

•       Utilizes resources to solve moderate development problems and recommends new resources to management.

•       Utilizes best practices and clearly defined standards, methods, and procedures.

•       Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

 

Job Requirements

•       Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent

•       Engineering, Computer Science

•       Generally requires 5+ years related experience

•       Experience with Ruby, Python or Go.

•       Experience with modern development tools: Git, JIRA, etc.

•       Experience with rapid prototyping.

•       Experience with Agile and/or Kanban.

•       Experience with SaaS and cloud-enabled environments

 

Must have/good to have

-       Software eng, scripting, automation of workflows

-       AWS preferred

-       Utilize python but open to other languages

-       Architectural mindset, dev, understand data workflow, warehousing

-       someone junior mid level

 

Interview Process – Funded through the year Phone and panel – 4 people f2f –scenario to write code
