Position: SQL DBA
Location: Santa Monica, CA

Required Skills
• Document our current application database (SQL Server moving to PostgreSQL)
• Study the current application database (SQL Server)
• Design a mapping of the data from the current DB to the new DB
• Create all the ETL scripts to perform the transfer from current to new DB (tool not defined yet)
• Test that all desired data loaded and correct any errors
• Regression test the current Application to prove normal operation with all data now in the new DB.
• Strategize and plan the migration of production data
• Assist with creating an internal tenant to tenant migration function to speed the ability to move "metadata”
• 3+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
• Experience documenting and mapping data from internal/external client websites and portals.
• Experience testing databases to ensure all desired data was loaded, correcting any/all errors.
• Experience regression testing end-user applications to verify normal operation with all data from a client database.
• Experience creating all necessary ETL scripts to perform transfers from the end client to client-based tools and portals.
• Previous DBA experience working in eCommerce application support environments is plus.
