Java Application Developer in Jupiter, FL
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Onsite: On location at the Client's site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Description: Our Client, a wholesale electricity supplier, and the world leader in generating renewable energy, is hiring a Java Application Developer to work in Jupiter, FL.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and integrate of new or existing applications into the technical infrastructure and existing business processes;
• Provide technical or functional guidance to project or work teams as needed within a specific discipline;
• Collaborate on an on-going basis with the Business Systems Analyst;
• Analyze, design, develop, test, debug, implement, maintain and/or enhance existing or new systems that are reliable and efficient.
Requirements:
• Experience with Java 1.8+ (6+ years);
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot (6+ years);
• Experience with Strong JavaScript / AngularJS (6+ years);
• Experience with JSON (6+ years);
• Experience with SQL (basic as well as advanced) (6+ years);
• Experience with Restful Web Service / Micro Services development (6+ years);
• Experience with Unix Scripting (6+ years);
• Experience with AWS / Cloud experience (6+ years);
• Database experience with Oracle / SQL Server / MongoDB (6+ years);
• Experience building optimal, cost effective and high performing solutions;
• Experience programming in C#;
• Experience with frameworks like AngularJS, Node.js, JQuery or similar;
• Experience with working with Micro Services and API;
• Experience working on back-end integration with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server or No SQL database like Mongo DB;
• Experience in one or more of the areas; Mobility, Mapping, Cloud, AR, Web and IoT;
• Basic knowledge and a great interest for secure application development;
• Experience working in Agile teams in the past and collaborated with other team members;
• Experience managing and guiding junior developers as a tech lead;
• Experience in full-stack development (preferred);
• DevOps experience (preferred);
• Experience with application servers such as Tomcat (preferred);
• Experience with APIGEE (preferred);
• Hadoop Eco system knowledge: Scala, Kafka, HBase, Spark, Spark Streaming, Hive, and Sqoop (preferred).
