Job Description:-
· Must have - A min of 6+ years of IT experience of which the last 2 years needs to be on Integration. -
· Must have -Knowledge of Apigee On-Prem & Cloud.
· Must have -Participating in peer code review process to keep code quality high.
· Must have -Knowledge of OpenAPI specifications and experience with writing Swagger documents.
· Must have -Hands on experience of installing and maintaining Apigee On prem(OPDK) with knowledge of individual components and how they work.
· Must have -Implement API management solutions using Apigee to include API proxies, rate limiting, security, analytics, monetization and developer portals.
· Must have -Proven Experience in a Senior API developer role and delivered multiple API engagements leveraging Apigee API gateway
· Must have -Identify technical dependencies and roadblocks proactively and work with cross-functional teams to remove them.
· Architecture experience on any integration products with a clear understanding of REST principles. - Good to have
· Experience with Continuous Integration Tools like Jenkins & Maven. - Good to have
· APIGEE certified professional is a big plus.
· A min of 1+ years experience on Architecting, Designing Apigee based engagements. - Good to have
· Develop coding standards, methodology and repeatable processes. - Good to have
· Facilitate development and communication of solutions to technical and business stakeholders.
· Collaborating with API engineers and backend engineers to improve the quality of APIs and assist in establishing best practices / processes across our products. - Good to have
· Understanding of Microservices approach of conceptualizing solutions is a very big plus.
· Good to have hands on development experience in JAVA & open source technologies.
· Knowledge and experience on Other API technologies is added advantage.
