- 4+ years’ experience providing Quality Assurance support for business applications
- 4+ years’ experience working directly with business – end users
- Able to create and run SQL queries
- 1-2 years’ experience in Agile projects
Nice to have skills: - Public Websites user experience testing
- Ability to create Test Plan and Test Cases
- Ability to perform System, Functional, Integration, and Regression tests
- Ability to perform white and black box testing
- Prior work experience with Mercury/HP tools including Quality Center/Test Director, QTP/UFT and Selenium
- Ability to automate test scripts using QTP or Selenium
- Experience in VSTS
- Understanding of Agile Methodology
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to work in team environment and interact with other technical resources to solve issues as a group.
- Ability to perform manual testing
- Ability to accurately report defects and troubleshooting
- Ability to work on own – self starter
- Must have initiative to gather knowledge to perform job responsibilities
- AS/400 experience is a plus
Role Responsibilities: - Work with business users to validate related requirements
- Work with business and development teams to understand details of solution being implemented.
- Make sure all documented requirements are working as described.
- Attend meetings with business users and development team to discuss and finalize changes.
- Perform automated as well as manual testing of needed functionality.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans.
- Coordinate UAT activities
- Maintain clear and accurate time reporting (Clarity) information related to Q/A work
- Able to meet the project deadline
- Comprehensively use SQL in querying back-end DB tables for Data Validation and Verification
- Ability to learn new technologies, methods, procedures and applying them to the projects.
- Ability to analyze, test, identify problems and creating solutions.
- Subject matter Experts for QA Methodology and tools used by QA.
