TITLE: Spark ETL Engineer
RATE: $60
LOCATION: Camp Hill, PA
Minimum 8+y
Spark ETL\Databricks resource (MUST have Spark ETL experience)
a. Azure Databricks, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Stream Analytics
b. Spark & Scala
c. Hadoop Hive
d. Scala/Java/Python
e. Kafka Stream processing and KSQL
f. IBM CDC – optional but +
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies Experience with Databricks, Spark dataframes, SparkSQL, Kafka, KSQL, real-time streaming, and message bus technologies
• Designing and implementing data models for cloud data environments
• Develop and maintain data environments, layouts, architectures and relational/non-relational databases for data access and Advanced Analytics
• Analyze current business practices, processes and procedures as well as identifying future business opportunities for leveraging Microsoft Azure Data & Analytics PaaS Services
• Translate business requirements to technical solutions
• Support the planning and implementation of data design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance and performing needs assessments
• Delivery of architectures for transformations and modernizations of data solutions using Azure cloud data technologies
• Experience with Git/TFS/VSTS/Azure DevOps
