Position: DevOps Engineer

PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Create, maintain, monitor, and support continuous integration tools and process in supporting the build, test, and release of applications.
• Effectively provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of version control systems, build tools and continuous integration tools.
• Effectively provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of middleware, containers, application management, and integrated logging in mission-critical production environment.
• Orchestrating resilient micro services to handle the dynamic customer experiences.
• Facilitates frequent releases of our applications.
• Set up, maintain system monitors, and respond to incidents.
• Provide timely support to troubleshoot and identify root cause on system alerts.
• Work with technical managers on software and system optimizations, help identify and remove potential performance bottlenecks.
• Transform development processes for existing applications into a continuous integration, continuous delivery driven software development lifecycle.
• Evangelist on DevOps best practices to continue improving software delivery and release processes.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
7+ years of experience with the following skill sets...

• 2+ years with Kubernetes – NO EXCEPTIONS!! REQUIRED
• 3 years of experience in IT development or administration
• 2+ years of experience with OpenShift.
• 3+ years of experience automating build and deployment in Jenkins and/or Bamboo.
• 3+ years of experience administering source control tool in enterprise environment. Experience with Git desired.
• 1+ years of experience monitoring and supporting mission-critical system using tools such as PagerDuty and NewRelic.
• 1+ years of experience with Elasticsearch. Kibana a plus.
• 1+ years of experience with AWS Environment & S3 Services highly preferred.
• 1+ years of experience with Ansible and YAML desired.
• Professional DevOps experience supporting scalable web applications.
• Background in software development or system administration.
• Basic experience in capturing and documenting important information related to system installation and maintenance.
• The attitude and determination to stay focused on results and deadlines until a successful delivery.
• Handles multiple tasks simultaneously. Prioritizes and organizes assignments to make efficient use of time with significant attention to details.
• Consistently demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, subordinates, and supervisors in professional and constructive manner.
