Job Title :UI Lead OR UI Architect
Location : Norfolk VA
Duration : 12+ Months Contract
Description:
· Work with customer to defining the overall technical architecture for the mobile application
· Defining the technical requirements for the implementation of the mobile solution
· Discussing technical aspects of the mobile application solution architecture, including the technology used, methodology followed, and devices selected with the customer
· Creating technical solution and architecture, artifacts, work products and presentation of solution with the customer
· Experience in developing reusable artifacts/frameworks, re-usable assets, Industry solutions, reference architecture, design, development and QA best practice
· Experienced in designing and developing mobile sdk and integrating mobile apps with web-services and external APIs
· Understanding of mobile security protocols, analytics and social channel integration.
· Understanding various non-functional aspects in mobile application design and provide a solution to optimize performance, scalability etc.
· Responsible for successfully designing and managing the delivery of mobile solutions and technologies
· Deliver mobile platform and architecture recommendations based on requirements and industry best practices
· Design overall solutions and individual applications
· Contribute toward excellence in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment
· Develop and document detailed architectures for mobile solutions on different platforms
· Enforce sound development practices and ensure the quality delivery of enterprise mobile solutions
· Hands on development in agile environment
· Lead and mentor development teams
· Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Senior Business Analysts, UX teams, and other client stakeholders
· Take ownership of the solution from end to end, and be responsible for translating functional requirements into a mobile solution
Experience / Requirements:
· Expertise in iOS (SWIFT), Android (Kotlin), React(Native), HTML5, CSS3, and other mobile frameworks/accelerators
· Hands-on experience in Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and designing Mobile applications with scalability and performance, especially within iOS and Android mobile stacks.
· Clear understanding of mobile platforms (iOS / Android) with hands-on experience in mobile development.
· A thorough understanding of OOP, design patterns, iOS, Android, and enterprise in mobile application integration
· Proven ability to design, optimize and integrate business processes across disparate systems and mobile technologies
· Demonstrated deployments of enterprise or consumer-facing mobile software systems using industry standard environments including iOS and Android
· Experience with mobile analytics
· Experience with SWIFT/Kotlin, Java, HTML5/JS/CSS3
· Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies
· Ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
· Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), its principles, and patterns at enterprise level
· Experience with architecting mobile enterprise solutions based on REST web services.
· Experience overseeing team members
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Experience in agile environment
Skills (Technologies/Methodologies):
Must Have:
· iOS and Android native development in React(native)/Swift/Kotlin, Java
· Experience in React Native/React JS/Angular JS
· Working knowledge of web-based technologies; HTTP, AJAX, HTML5, JavaScript/jQuery and CSS3.
· Experience with Sprint Boot, Maven, Bamboo and great debugging skills.
· Great understanding with builds, software development and git
Good to have
· Experience in AWS, Docker, OAuth, B2C integrations in mobile.
· Jira, Confluence and other atlassian tools
· Continuous Integration tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or TFS
· Chef, Puppet or Ansible
· Google Play Store Console, Apple Developer Console
· Load balancers • Firewalls • Mac OS X
Overall Experience level: 8+ years in IT with min 2+ years as a technical/solution Architect
