Java SOA Architect
Location: Bethesda, MD
Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description:
• 12 -15 Years of overall experience
• 4+ years of solution architecture and 6+ years of technical architecture experience
• Strong knowledge of UML diagrams and Design Patterns
• Should have worked with an onsite-offshore development model
• Should have very good communication, time management and co-ordination skills
• Experience in Java 8, hands-on with Java parallel processing & SQL
• Should have strong knowledge of RESTful microservices principles, design and implementation
• Should have strong SQL and database design skills
• Should have strong NoSQL and distributed database skills, preferably Cassandra (C*)
• Should be 100 % hands-on and will need to actively guide an offshore team on daily/weekly priorities Optional
• Apache Kafka, Apache Spark and Couchbase skills are desirable
• Exposure to Docker and AWS cloud services is desirable
