Job Title : ETL Tester
Location : Chicago, IL
Duration : 12+ Months Contract
Description:
Responsible for developing test plans, developing and executing formal test cases to ensure the delivery of quality software application. Design, write and edit test cases to ensure software functions as designed. Review system use cases and functional specifications with the appropriate business analyst. Conduct test cases peer review. Ensure all levels of testing are conducted with adequate coverage. Identify potential problems, omissions and open issues, attend walkthroughs and signoff meetings. Manage the release cycle, identify Quality risks, escalate issues in a timely manner and manage defects to closure.

- ETL Requirements Analysis and Decomposition

-ETL Test Design and Test Plan Development
-Writing and Executing ETL Test Cases
-Test Data Acquisition
-Manual Test Execution
-Data Validation
-Defect Tracking (Logging and Reporting)
-Test Status & Metrics Reporting
Job Complexity:
A highly regulated environment with complex technical environments that may require flexibility working during the downtime, reprioritizing due to delayed builds, etc.
Interaction:
Must be able to efficiently interact with the client and project team, and with the internal QA team members.
