Analytical – Quantitative aptitude and analytical approach for project reporting; should have a detailed understanding of data analysis and manipulation to make decisions. Influencing – Adept at in influencing others, clearly explaining rationale and reasoning for recommendations to those whom may show initial resistance to drive meaningful change results and be a contributing member of the project team. Job Description:   The main focus of the Functional consultant will be to manage the Microsoft AX System and provide day to day functional support to finance team. The candidate may be responsible for handling projects in addition to providing user support. Some of the high level activities will include supporting month end closing activities, helping in creation of reports, providing guidance in executing and improving financial business process that is automated using AX, Support the migration effort from AX to Oracle EBS. Experience implementing AX based projects will be definite plus.   Drive the success of AX environment by undertaking project & support activities including but not limited to Configuration, Requirements Gathering, Business Process Analysis, Testing, Creation of Project Documentation, Training, and Translation of business needs into requirements and ultimately solutions using D365 For Operations and other Microsoft Products. Provide month-end support and assist with closing activities.  Help in developing reports for end users as needed on AX platform. Build trust relationships with users allowing open and direct consultation regarding the business processes. Show ownership of tasks allocated to you and constantly strive to over deliver to the customers and to peers.
