- Expertise in Core Java, Multi-threading and SQL
- Hands on experience publishing and consuming web services - REST/SOAP
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle. This would include schema design, writing DML queries and performance tuning queries
- Experience in implementing solutions that handle high availability and concurrency with low latency requirements
- Strong debugging skills
- Undertake performance improvements via GC analysis, JVM tuning, code reviews etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice-to-have: - Experience with core index and search technologies like Solr/Lucene, Web Services / SOA Architecture
- Designing server applications for reliability, scalability and performance
- Familiarity with clustered server architectures, build and software delivery systems, CI/CD
