Job Description:.     
  • Day to day administration activities like user creation, folder creation, configuring DB connections etc. Capacity planning and on-going monitoring (e.g. CPU, Memory, etc.) to proactively increase capacity as needed.
  • Having good knowledge & experience of configuring and maintaining servers with multiple nodes.
  • Should independently trouble shoot and resolve any platform issues.
  • Manage backup and security of the Infrastructure.
  • Experience with installation and upgrade of Informatica Power Center (Power Exchange, IDQ & IDS would be a plus) in UNIX environment.
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining DR environment.
  • Migration of ETL objects from lower environment to production.
  • Support Production Batch jobs 24x7 during weekly on-call rotations.
  • Govern system resources and resolve issues in partnering with Global Technology teams for Servers and Databases.
  • Specific technical skills for an Informatica Administration: Tool Administration, Shell Scripting, Code Deployment, Security/Access Management.
  • Design/Implement monitoring for services.
  • Hot fix and new version upgrades
  • Debug Application/Infrastructure issues.
  • Help Appdev community with trouble shooting complex technical issues.

Role                : Data Analyst – (SQL, MS Excel, Business Object/Tableau) - Need H1B with Submission
Location         : Rockville, MD (suburbs of DC)
Duration        : 12+ Months


Job Description:.     

Job Duties:
  • Develop standard reporting for division units for business tracking with given requirements.
  • Interact with tactical team for transitioning of completed reports to be produced on the schedule.
  • Process change requests on steady state reports with attention to reconciliation expectations.
  • Document developed reports to share with team members. 
Skills:
  • Ability to code in SQL required. Advanced understanding of query optimization.
  • Business Objects or Tableau similar reporting tool knowledge required.
  • Expert in MS Excel and MS Access with some VBA knowledge.
  • Be able to prioritize based on due dates and task demands.
  • Exposure to Finance, Actuarial or Planning which general focus on report creation and review.
