Title:- Solution/Data Architect

Location:- Minnetonka, MN

 

 

Description:

 

The solution architect is accountable for proactively and holistically leading or supporting design/architecture activities that create deliverable that guide business models, process, oand technology investments in response to disruptive forces and toward achieving targeted business outcomes.

 

The candidate filling this role is expected to take the lead to design ARA lighthouse use cases in regards to Data Platform consumption layer in conjunction with gaining technical understanding of Big Data technologies and in particular gain working technical knowledge of managing massive volumes of data leveraging Hadoop, Spark and ElasticSearch. This role will be working hands on to develop proofs-of-concepts (POC) to identify viable options for implementing a particular data management need. This role will also pass on the learning to peers for knowledge sharing.

 

Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent and extensive related project experience.

• 5-7 years of progressive experience as data architect.

• 3-5 years of experience as a Data modeler

• 2-3 years of experience in Data warehousing experience

• 5+ years of business or IT experience with a direct responsibility for strategy formulation and/or translation, business analytics, and program management, application development , middleware, database management or operations.

• A good knowledge of the operating system(s)

• A good knowledge of physical/cloud database design

• A good knowledge of SQL/NoSQL Data base technologies .

• A good knowledge of Big Data and technologies.

• Experience and knowledge in migrating code, database changes, data and menus through the various stages of the development life cycle.

• Experience with realtime data ingestion and data streaming technologies such as Kafka

• A good knowledge of the way DBs enforces data integrity.

• A sound knowledge of both database and program code performance tuning

• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum, Kanbans, Sprint planning,
