Hadoop is a MUST HAVE
Talend is a MUST HAVE
See tech stack below:
1. ETL Tool – Talend Minimum of 2 years of experience. Be able to read from Data Logs, XML, JASON or SQL Sources and move to HIVE or Impala Targets.
2. Databases – Hive, Impala. 2 Years of experience in table design best practices, decision making abilities in choosing right file format, data distribution strategies.
3. Scripting Skills – Python, Scala, Spark SQL
4. Scheduling tools – Autosys
5. Other skills – Good to have SQL Server skills like being able to convert SQL Server Stored Procedures into Scala routines.
6. Operating System – Good Linux command level skills, Shell scripting skills
7. Communication – Be able to meet with business users and document the requirements, demonstrate the product, obtain the feedback and take appropriate actions.
