Role: SalesForce QA Engineer

We are in need of two senior (8 years+) QA Engineers with experience testing Salesforce applications. This is a phone and Skype to hire. Candidates in Florida with a LinkedIn profile preferred but not required.
The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software solutions. Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution in support of IT changes to business processes. May participate in change control processes and approvals, particularly at more experienced levels. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. Documents all problems communicating the issue to development staff to assist in their resolution. More experienced Senior Quality Assurance Analysts may deliver quality and testing process training to IT staff and project teams. They may also perform quality and testing audits across the various IT functions to ensure adherence to quality and testing standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed properly and consistently. The Senior QA Analyst acts as team leader with strong leadership skills and ability to build high performance work teams for solution testing. This individual also coordinates the work activities and results with the offshore leader of an outsourced testing organization that will offset capacity issues during time periods with heavy project loads.
The responsibilities for this role are:
• Develop testing approaches, including those for test automation
• Plan and document succession planning within scope of responsibility
• Develop test plans, including test conditions and expected results, test cases, and test scripts
• Identify test data requirements and work with other teams as needed to create and maintain test data
• Execute testing, including documentation of test results and defects
• Assist in defect troubleshooting and resolution
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of software testing tools
• Create, run, and maintain reports to measure and track testing metrics
• Participate in testing automation, including script development and maintenance
• Stay up-to-date on software application testing tools and best practices
• Deliver quality and testing process training to IT staff and project teams
• Perform quality and testing audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality and testing standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed properly and consistently
• Mentor peers to help them build capabilities
• Oversee and participate in quality and testing audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality and testing standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed properly and consistently

Required Skills
• Expertise with software education test planning and execution as well as related testing tools • Strong team player with willingness to collaborate • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Strong capability to execute tasks with quality • Proficient oral and written communication skills • Strong ability to perform software application test planning and execution tasks • Good time management skills (i.e. works efficiently) • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently • Good understanding of the software applications under area of responsibility for testing • Experience working with a testing organization that is located offshore • Experience executing a testing scenario focused on quality assurance of development and support changes in an SAP landscape or similar integrated ERP platform • Experience executing the regression and performance testing for packaged releases on a defined schedule timeline • Experience coordinating the scheduling and resources for regression and performance testing • Experience running or managing a significant business wide IT project or change • Capability to understand the business application portfolio as well as how the different systems contribute to daily business operations • Experience leading a high-performance work team • Test automation skills • Ability to analyze and solve problems • Strong team player who is able to work across multiple functions and disciplines • Demonstrated ability to evaluate process and technology solutions to outline the right level of testing to be created or executed to ensure a change will not impact the production environment upon release.
Experience
• 7 or more years of work experience in IT, including at least one year of experience in a software application testing that spanned test planning through execution TRAVEL
