Location: St. Louis, MO

Duration: Full Time/Long Term Contract

 

Job Requirements:

• Expertise with Oracle Grid/ASM/RDBMS/RAC installations, best practices, configuration, troubleshooting & creation of databases on both physical & virtual environments
• Expertise with Oracle 12c installations for standalone and multi-node RAC installations & configurations.
• Expertise with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) agent installations, configuration & setting up monitoring for the server/database targets.
• Experience with installation, configuration & administration of Oracle Golden Gate replication utility.
• Experience with working with configuration/administering/managing systems & databases on engineered systems like Exadata/ODA.
• Experience with Oracle backup processes to disk/tape media with NetBackup media management layer.
• Experience with the latest features of Oracle 12c version.
• Experience with shell scripting
• Experience with  database upgrades/migrations from lower versions (10,11g) to 12c
• Experience with troubleshooting installation issues, stress testing, performing tuning and resolving any issues as part of database upgrade/migration activities.
• Experience managing database structures, storage allocation, constraints, database access, roles & security.
• Experience with database cloning using oracle data pump utilities/RMAN backup/transportable tablespaces
• Experience with Oracle Data guard configuration/switchover.
• Strong verbal and communication skills and working with different departments within organization.
