Job summary:
1) Worked on RedHat Enterprises Linux 2) Worked on Remote Administration of Linux and Solaris. 3) Worked on Financial/Bank IT infrastructure environment 4) Are you ITIL Cerified ?
Linux/Suse administrator, who has minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant experience working in a reputed company and also has below in depth knowledge of Linux server administration.
Technical Skills:
• Very good OS Administration & Troubleshooting skill in Redhat Linux 5,6,7 and Suse Linux
• Installation and Restoration of Linux server using Jumpstart/Kickstart.
• Hands on exposure for Red hat 5, 6, 7/ Suse OS management remotely.
• HP Blade/DL & Cisco Blade monitoring and troubleshooting experience
• Good knowledge on Linux Logical volume manager and online expansion of filesystems.
• Must be worked on CMAN, RGManager, or Pacemaker Resource Manager
• Knowledge on Kernel Patching, OS upgrade, hardware drivers and firmware upgrades
• working Knowledge of EMC/Hitachi/NetApp SAN from OS end
• Good knowledge of YUM repository and satellite server.
• Must be worked and troubleshooting knowledge of ILOM/ALOM remotely
• Must be familiar and work experience on zLinux, zBX and Vsphere
• System failure analysis and recovery, insuring the consistency and integrity of file systems
• Strong knowledge on backup/restore technology with disaster recovery system and DR drill management
• Experience and Knowledge on PowerPath/EMC MultiPath/Vxdmp
• Strong concepts of networking like TCP / IP .
• Network and network services (NFS, NIS, etc.) administration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge on IBM ISAS x3650 will be added advantage.
• Knowledge on scripting and good in automation.
• Linux/Cluster/ITIL Certification
• Good communication Skills.
• ready to work in shifts and 24x7 support model
Process Skills:
• Good knowledge on ITIL and worked on incident/change/problem on regular basis.
• Good in Techinical Documentation and design process and standards
• Expert knowledge on Critical incident management and SLA management .
Behavioral Skills:
• Resolve technical issues of projects and Explore alternate designs
• Able to thrive in rapid environment and adopt new technology fastly.
• Good Team handling skills and also a team player.
• Should be open to work on 24x7 environment.
• Participate in business meetings with various stake holders
• Drive self-motivated service improvement programs as a key team player who is attentive to detail and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Perform Trend analysis, identify top few incidents and work with respective teams/individual to minimize the incidents.

Qualification:
Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in working as a Linux administrator.
