Job title: Informatica Developer

Location: Roseville, CA

Job summary:

Secondary Skill: BI Report development – Any BI report tool (OBIEE preferred/COGNOS/Tableau/etc.)

• Candidate to have hands- on experience both on the Primary and Secondary Skills.

• Informatica ETL developer with around 8years’ experience majorly in development and production support environment involving oracle as the database. Following are the responsibilities:

• Must have experience working in client location, coordinating with offshore and other client support groups

• Responsible for working with the business intelligence (BI) of ETL (extract, transform, load) developer team, modifying jobs and ETL processes for a next generation enterprise data warehouse

• Has an understanding of data modelling, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to identify solutions to complex data problems, and to communicate appropriately with the team leadership

• Helps interpret business and create technical requirements, including mapping documents to support the ETL development process, and the execution of ETL jobs.

• Independently construct complex extract, transformation and load routines

• Work directly with DBAs, architects, developers, and key business partners to create applications that meet specific business needs

• Knowledge of Informatica Power Center, Transformation Tools and other relevant Informatica Tools

• Analyze components or modules of large or complex systems for significant phases of larger, complex assignments

• Strong SQL skills with ability to write complex SQL queries to do data analysis, GAP analysis, and detailed requirement analysis

• Hand-on developer and design knowledge on any of the BI reporting tools and should have developed reports using BI tool (drill down reports, parametric reports, adhoc/self-service reports, visualization reports - graphs/bars/etc.)

• Understand and adhere to industry standards and best practises in design. Should be able to think and analyse design from end to end datawarehouse (BI/ETL/Datalake/Source System).
