Job Description
This ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for working with the IT Services Management team on internal customer needs and developing new workflows based on new requirements.
This role will be responsible for taking the lead on new requirements and following through on assigned development tasks based on business changes.
Talent with out of the box ServiceNow knowledge is highly preferred; customization is fine but currently could use strength in base product capabilities.
Team-oriented. Personal contribution is indirect on costs/operation within area and department. Ensures execution of roles and responsibilities. No direct reports.
May provide input on department budget.
Reports to appropriate level of IT management. Primarily works with business unit representatives, and within other functional areas.
Collaborates with other team members delivering IT solutions.
Leads and mentors more junior talent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's degree
· 5-7 years in a technology related field
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and team environments
· Ability to analyze complex situations, negotiate and position solutions towards Maritz strategic plans, excellent execution skills
· Technical lead for development / implementation / integration of technology solutions
· Minimum of 1 year of ServiceNow development experience
· Minimum 3 years of JavaScript development experience
· Experience developing ServiceNow applications from business requirements and/or technical design documents Experience with service portal development
· Expertise in Web technologies (Web Services, XML, Java)
· Experience with 1 or more full lifecycle implementation SCOPE: Blend of tactical, operational, and strategic responsibilities
