Role: Tech Program Manager
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 6 months+
Must have
a. Ability to review / solve technical issues in the following technologies which are raised by the developers, either on own, or with architect stakeholders. This is a must have skill, as the developers are at offshore and technical stakeholders are in US
(Cloud Foundry/Spring Boot/Spring 5/J2EE/iBatis/React.js/Relational Database)
b. Enough technical understanding to prioritize technical stories, as per the program backlog to align to overall program goals
c. Basic business analysis expertise -> to understand/prioritize business requirements and track it in terms of technical stories in JIRA
d. Ability to do deployments using Maven Build, Jenkins CI and custom scripted CD pipeline
e. Soft sign off offshore delivery by running offshore code locally (Using IntelliJ, Visual Studio Code) and reviewing functionalities
f. Familiarity with Agile projects with short sprints
g. Familiarity with agile ceremonies (Backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand up, sprint retrospective) and how these
h. A keen tacit understanding of project status – ability to see the big picture and risks before they happen by talking to the developers
i. Communication with senior stakeholders
Good To Have
j. Familiar with JIRA
k. Ability to do stakeholder communication using JIRA dashboards, power point based status reports, and summarize large amount of story data from JIRA using MS Excel (In case the right JIRA dashboard component is available)
l. Ability to see project risks, and remediate early
