Location : If Onsite – Office Address – 10780 Parkridge Blvd #70, Reston, VA 20191.
Number of days onsite - 5 days.
Mandatory Skills:-
Java /J2EE -12 Years
Micro services/Spring boot- 8-10 Years
Docker/Kubernetes -7 Years
Kafka- 8+ Years
NoSQL DBA- 5+ Years
Mandatory if Applicable
Domain Experience (If any ) – Retail
Must have Certifications –
Prior UST experience – N

The client is looking for a highly energetic and collaborative Java lead t for a 12-month engagement.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with development teams to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain the Java platform
• Provide technical leadership for application architecture, technical design, and programming
• Provide technical leadership for all Java environment areas including code reviews, build automation, source control, and configuration management
• Work closely with web developers to develop internal tools and platforms for the build process
• Provide technical leadership for software development methodology, including code reviews, unit tests, and code style
• Provide subject matter expertise for application security, performance, and scalability
• Provide technical leadership for the continuous integration and continuous delivery process
• Develop and document best practices for team collaboration, estimating, productivity, software architecture, technical design, and documentation
• Work closely with product owners to understand and translate business objectives into technical requirements
• Conduct code reviews to ensure coding standards
Experience and Skill Level:-
o 12+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, C++
o 4+ years of experience architecting large-scale applications of Java
o Experience designing and coding high-performance, scalable, reusable, enterprise Java applications
o Good exposure to Micro services architecture, Kafka, cloud technologies
o Experience in eCommerce projects.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
o The most successful candidates will also have experience in the following:
Gitflow, Kubernetes, Docker
Atlassian products – Bit Bucket, JIRA, Confluence etc.
Continuous Integration tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or TFS
