JOB DESCRIPTION
- Experience as a Data Analyst (or related occupation) performing data analysis, data engineering, and scripting using Python and SQL.
- Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") analyzing large-scale data to detect patterns, trends, and nuances using Snowflake; gathering data from disparate sources and executing data parsing; summarizing, visualizing, and simplifying data loading by designing clean data models using Python; and deploying ETL pipelines using data querying, modeling, SQL, Linux, and Cronjob.
- DE designing large data sets and implementing pre-aggregations to avoid data consolidation as a part of larger data strategy initiatives; processing and preparing data for analytical insights using Snowflake modeling patterns; planning, designing, and implementing diverse Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards to visualize data using OBIEE, Power BI, Tableau, and MS Excel.
- DE designing relational databases, data models, and optimizing process automation to minimize manual interventions using MySQL; developing/documenting data architecture and strategies — extracting, transforming, and analyzing unstructured/semi-structured data using JSON/XML feed content from websites, customer-entered feedback (surveys and online interactions), measured user consumption, click rates, and engagement activity.
- DE creating data marts and flows and paginated reports to maximize utilization and transparency using Power BI features; managing and comparing existing data models and schemas to analyze performance and scope improvements using Snowflake; and developing REST API and automating ETL process using Postman and Python
