Role: Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Job Description
- Design, architect, and implement Azure-based solutions according to client requirements.
- Strong expertise in Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure Active Directory, etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure infrastructure and services.
- Configure and deploy Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Ensure adherence to Azure best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.
- Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable Azure-based systems and services.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Automate repetitive tasks and streamline operational processes using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools terraform.
- Conduct chaos engineering experiments to identify and mitigate system weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
- Perform capacity planning and optimization to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency of Azure resources.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, and PowerShell scripting.
- Participate in incident response and post-mortem activities to analyze root causes and prevent recurrence of incidents.
- Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies, trends, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Drive architecture and technical discussion to lead cloud security, privacy, and compliance decisions1.
- VNETs, Subnets, Public/Private IPs, Private Endpoints, peering, hub and spoke for cloud networking.
- Azure Functions and App Services to support microservice architectures.
- Azure Monitor and App Insights for logging and telemetry.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights,
- Deep knowledge of version control systems like GIT, Github.
- Azure SQL Database and Cosmos DB for IaaS and PaaS databases.
- Experience with Jira Help Desk or Service Now.
- Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, etc., are preferred.
- Experience with scripting language(s) such as Bash, Perl, Python, PowerShell or similar.
