This role serves as the Clinical Data Quality Analyst to create an automated, scalable approach for data quality issue identification and remediation for the Scientific Data Aggregation platform. This position is responsible to develop and implement data quality strategies, identify quality gaps, implement reporting processes to track quality improvements, enhance current systems, define, and prioritize high-value quality products and manage projects to completion, develop standardized testing methods which facilitate the quality checking process. This role would Collaborate with different business groups across Global Development organizations to develop Clinical Data Quality business requirement, rules, testing approach, acceptance criteria, training, and change management plans for data management or data analytic solutions. Must possess hands-on experience with data quality tools (Informatica IDQ, Collibera DQ), programming language (SQL, Python), and AWS cloud platform (S3, Data Lake), Data Lake, Data Warehousing, and analytics information domains.
As the Clinical Data Quality Analyst, a typical might include the following:
- Lead the development and execution of data quality to ensure data accuracy, consistency across Clinical data to improve business efficiency.
- Perform data profiling and validation tasks across multiple clinical data sources to identify data quality issues and anomalies within Clinical data in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.
- Collaborate with Clinical business stakeholders to identify attributes that require object data quality and corresponding business rules and contribute to improve Data Quality of Clinical Data platform.
- Prepare & Maintain data quality business rules repository, key metrics and partner with Implementation team to leverage DQ framework to implement these checks in various data pipelines.
- Establish, communicate, and lead the adoption of DQ standards and best practices across the enterprise, influencing peers to adopt programs and projects to achieve efficiencies.
- Serve as a liaison between Global Clinical Development, Implementation, and Technology team to ensure that Scientific data quality related business rules & requirements are clearly defined, communicated, and implemented.
- Prepare processes to identify new trends & patterns on data onboarded on Clinical Data Platform & Report results to business stakeholders.
