Sr. PowerBuilder Programmer Analyst
Schedule: HYBRID (2 days per week onsite required) / Remote - once in a month onsite
Overview: Our client Virginia Tax Association is looking for a Senior PowerBuilder Programmer Analyst for a HYBRID position based out of Richmond, VA.
Visa: All apart from H1B/CPT/OPT

Responsibilities:

• 10 + years of Experience in PowerBuilder, Design and Development experience using Agile Software Development.
• Hands-on experience developing PowerBuilder 3-tier applications using PowerBuilder 12zz.5 or higher.
• Hands-on experience using Relational Databases, such as Oracle 19C or higher or MySQL or similar.
• Design and develop clear and maintainable code.
• Experience using software project tracking tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Independently performs a variety of complicated software development tasks using PowerBuilder.
• Knowledge on TAX-Integrated Revenue Management System (IRMS) - highly desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and ability to work well in a team.
• Interact with a multi-disciplined team to clarify analyze, assess requirements.
• Work independently and collaboratively on a multi-disciplined project team in an Agile development environment.
• Contribute to detailed design and architectural discussions as well as customer requirements sessions to support the implementation PowerBuilder Applications.

Requirements:

• 10 Years – Hands-on experience developing PowerBuilder 3-tier applications using PowerBuilder 11.5 or higher.
• 10 Years – Hands-on experience using Relational Databases, such as Oracle 19c or higher or MySQL or similar.
• 10 Years – Independently performs a variety of complicated software development tasks using PowerBuilder.
• 10 Years – Designs and develops clear and maintainable code.
• 5 Years – Expert knowledge on API integration and creating Web service calls in PowerBuilder.
• 5 Years – Experience using software project tracking tools such as Azure DevOps
