Role: IT- Business Analyst
Location: 100% Remote
Visa : USC, GC
Duration:6 Months
Top 3 Skills:
• Technical understanding of data, software development, Agile Scrum experience
Must Haves:
• 6+ years' experience
• Top 2 must haves: Good at detailed documentation/ attention to detail. Ambitious/ willing to take on new activities.
Position Summary: Looking for a BA to help collect requirements from the business and break down with work with a scrum master in Azure DevOps. A technical background involving a global Data Platform (ingestion, transformation, data enablement)
Job Description: The BA works primarily with internal customers to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate business requirements. Additionally the BA will review business requests, complete business cases and lead documentation of processes. The successful candidate will be able to work under minimal supervision. The Sr. BA will work primarily with internal customers to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate business requirements. Additionally, they will provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership to fellow business analysts. The successful candidate will be able to work under minimal supervision as well as within a team environment. The Sr BA also demonstrates a firm grasp of BABOK concepts and has diverse portfolio of project experience and has worked with several methodologies. The Sr BA is preferred, but not required, to hold an industry known certification.
Preferred Skills:
• Speciality knowledge (Business Domains: OTC, Procure to Pay, FICO, HR, etc.) (Technology Domains; E-business, Mobile, WEB, ERP, Digital, etc.) or has extensive Functional Analyst, Enterprise Architect or Developer experience. Business Analyst eliciting requirements and being a conduit between IT and the business .
• Experience in supporting and consulting to various aspects of functional business units (i.e. Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain, IT, Product Development).
• Possesses a high level of expertise and knowledge in various business processes and understanding of the underlying technologies.
• Highly collaborative with the ability to engage in interviews with business and IT, both individuals and teams.
• Experienced in gathering detailed business & functional and non-functional requirements, documenting business processes and understanding of software development methodologies.
• Knowledgeable of emerging and competing technologies.
• Bachelors degree in relevant field.
