USC/GC This is a 3+ month contract REMOTE Required Skills
- SQL Server; ideally Azure SQL Server
- Azure Data Factory
- SQL Server Integrated Services (within Visual Studio)
- Experience with T-SQL (Transact SQL)
- Data Warehouse Architecture using Kimball Warehouse design concepts
- Development and maintenance of Extract and Load (EL) and Extract, Transfer, and Load (ETL) processes
- Data Mapping
- Data Warehouse Security
- Good communication skills
- Creating and deploying Azure Analysis Services cubes using Visual Studio
- Azure Blob Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure Integration Runtime, Azure Webhooks, Azure Monitoring, and/or other Azure-related skills
- Using SQL to generate SQL code
- Using Visual Studio for Data Warehouse development, including using Visual Studio for deploying upgrades
- Using SQL Server extended attributes to maintain a Data Dictionary
- Data Warehouse monitoring and notifications/alerts when events and/or thresholds are reached
- Experience with JIRA
- GIT and/or DevOps experience
- Power BI and/or Excel reporting knowledge, Power Query
