PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Should be ready to provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.

·        Able to handle production issue.

·        Independently analyze, solve, and fix issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.

·        Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes

·        Interact with client/onsite counterpart for issue resolution

·        Able to follow the incident/change/problem management process

·        Understanding of ITIL Vx.x and its components

·        Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after business hours.

·        Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.

·        Should be comfortable to work in clean room with project specific limitations.

·        Shifts – Work in different shift timings based on the client need and depending on Release / DR / Onshore Holiday support occasions.

·        Hands-on technical implementation and deployment of projects in pilot/production environments.

REQUIRED SKILLS

·        5+ years of experience in Linux and working knowledge of shell scripting/power shell to work on automation initiatives

·        Understanding of database concepts (ORACLE preferred) and working knowledge of SQL scripts

·        Working knowledge of control-M and/or any scheduling tool is preferred.

·        Working knowledge of Informatica power center tools is preferred.

·        Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly provide solutions to issues encountered.

·        Knowledge of ITIL processes

·        Application / Product Monitoring (Basics)

·        Basic Knowledge on common monitoring tool

·        Basic knowledge of virtualization, storage, AD & Networking Concepts.

·        Team player and flexible

·        Strong knowledge of any ITSM tool (ServiceNow is preferred)

DESIRED SKILLS

·        Knowledge of Smartstream’s TLM, IBM MQ, Active MQ is added advantage.

·        Knowledge of Disaster Recovery (DR) processes.
